In 1991 my responsibilities as a Metallurgical Process Engineer with Zinc Corporation of America in Bartlesville, Oklahoma lead me to research methods to help improve zinc metal quality. One of the methods researched was an infrared camera. The camera helped identify electrical shorts and other electrical imbalances in the electrolytic cell house. The $25,000 camera purchase was easily justified by improvements in electrical current efficiency and zinc metal quality. Using the Agema 210 infrared viewing system, I conducted daily infrared surveys of the cell house identifying then reporting to maintenance areas needing attention and repair.

During my career, I have completed certification and training with HAZWOPER, MSAH, CERT Emergency Response, CSI Vibrational Analysis, Krautkramer NDT Ultrasonics, Microsoft Project, Radon Testing Certification, Infrared certifications at FLIR's Infrared Training Center,  I have BS in Metallurgical Engineering and MBA Business Degree.

I began C&I Inspections, LLC in 2002 offering infrared thermal imaging services to residential and commercial clients along with other technical inspection services.  Using a Mikron 320x240 FPA Infrared System, C&I Inspections offers independent infrared thermography scanning services to commercial and industrial facilities.

With my broad background and industrial experience I am comfortable in assisting maintenance personnel and electricians perform infrared preventative maintenance surveys and providing professional reports of the findings.

Save time, save money, and improve worker safety.  Call to schedule independent infrared thermal imaging of your facilities electrical systems.
